Advancing compassionate end-of-life care, because no one should die on the streets.

Imagine taking your last breath alone and on the cold streets – without comfort, without dignity, without a place to call home. Thousands of people face this heartbreaking reality every year.
Homeless at the End is changing this by raising awareness about the tragic circumstances people and communities face, providing guidance to help people start new programs, and sharing stories that move hearts to action.
Dying on the streets should never be anyone's final chapter because every life deserves compassion.
Mission & Vision
Homeless at the End is dedicated to helping individuals and communities create hospice programs for people experiencing homelessness, because no one should suffer and die on the streets. We envision a world where everyone has access to housing, medical care, comfort, and dignity at the end of life.

Having served as the founding Executive Director of The INN Between, a hospice for people experiencing homelessness in Salt Lake City, I am passionate about this calling. I created Homeless at the End to make end-of-life programs attainable in every community.
The name honors the PBS Utah original film Homeless at the End, produced by Sally Shaum and Nancy Green, which centers on The INN Between's first year in operation, putting a human face on the challenges people experiencing homelessness face as they confront their mortality.

Please join us as we shine a light on the forgotten, share powerful stories, and build real solutions. Together, we can bring compassion and hospice care to those who need it most.
